The Northern Tech Summit is a two-day B2B technology conference held annually in Manchester, drawing 1,200 delegates from across the UK's tech sector. The event features keynotes, panel discussions, and a sponsor exhibition hall, with revenue heavily weighted toward sponsor packages.
The Challenge
The conference organisers were looking for a new way to activate sponsors beyond logo placement on lanyards and roll-up banners. Delegates largely ignored traditional branding, and sponsors were asking for interactive, measurable engagement to justify their spend. The event had a large stage screen used for slides during talks but sat idle during breaks and networking sessions — an underused asset the team wanted to monetise.
Go Fan Cam Setup

QR codes were printed on delegate badges and displayed on screens during coffee breaks and lunch. Commercial Outcome
