The club has an active fanbase and strong social media presence, but lacked a digital fan engagement tool that could activate fans inside the stadium and deliver measurable value to commercial partners.

The Challenge

The club's commercial team needed a way to prove sponsor value beyond traditional perimeter boards and programme ads. Younger fans were on their phones throughout the match but had no reason to engage with club or sponsor content in the venue. The club wanted an interactive activation that would get fans involved, generate shareable content, and produce hard data for sponsor reports — without the cost of hiring a dedicated fan cam crew for every home match.

Go Fan Cam Setup

KL City chose the Starter plan with one active link for their main stadium screen. The club's media team configured branding with club colours, crest, and sponsor logos in under 20 minutes. A QR code was displayed on the big screen before kickoff and during halftime. Fans scanned from their seats, snapped a selfie, and appeared on the big screen with the club's branded frame and sponsor logos. The media officer moderated photos from her phone pitchside.
